The past twenty-nine years in the region has allowed me and my associates to help many developments and families explore their dreams and create spaces in which to live, play, and work. The services that help clients include land planning, environmental planning and investigations for development, and site development design for our commercial clients. In the focus of single family house building design, residential design services, and residential landscape architecture, we help builders and owners with plan modifications as well as planning a site and house plans from just concepts. We look at the house designed with the land instead of forcing a house to a site. Our experience with single family architecture, site design, and subdivision design has also helped sub-division homeowner associations with their architectural review of house plans and associated site plans for ARCs, (Architectural Review Committees or Boards). The present requirements for building a new home in South Carolina require individual lot NPDES SWPP plans and NOI (Notice of Intent), for grading permits which we do on a regular basis for those new construction lots. We also have surveyors that work with us on a project need basis. Other residential services that we provide with our interior design associates are full service residential design services through construction management and observation. In the environmental planning services area we provide wetlands determinations, wetlands delineations, assistance in wetlands permitting, and expert witness in tree loss cases as well as tree appraisals during highway mediation. As a wetland consultant in the region since 1991 we have had an excellent working relationship with the Army Corps of Engineers in mapping verifications and special restoration projects.
